How I do my thing

Hi, this is where we get to know each other better.

Here, I’ll tell you my step by step process about how we can work together to achieve results. Of course, I build websites, plenty of people do. I’m not going to fill your head with website jargon. What I bring to the table is a complete strategy that turns a website investment into a lead capturing machine. I’m going to quickly run through my process of working together to achieve a successful strategy to build you a website that achieves SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Timed) results.

The Brief

I’ll ask the right questions to understand your business or organisation and why you need my help and exactly what it is you’re trying to achieve. Some of these questions may seem a little uncomfortable. In fact, if it doesn’t get a little awkward, then chances are I haven’t done my job.

The Sitemap

Once I have all the information I need, I’ll build a visual sitemap so we can all get on the same page very quickly about what it is we’re trying to communicate and the best way to structure the information. Here’s an example of one I baked earlier.

The Prototype

Instead of trying to explain to you what I intend to build and hoping you understand my jargon, I’ll build an interactive prototype in the browser to show you how my solution will work. With no attention to design at this stage, it’s not pretty, but it quickly gives you a feeling of how the site works. Here’s one I prepared earlier.

The Design

This is the step I use my magic to bring your interactive prototype to life and match your brand identity. Here’s the same website fully designed.

The Delivery

Finally, we go underground for a couple of weeks and make sure everything is plugged in and tested before deploying your shiny new website to your hosting server so you can show it off to the whole world.

Alright! Now you know how we get things done at Imageworx, there’s a few things you need to ask yourself about getting prepared for great results.
