Before you jump in there are a few things we need to sort out first

Do you have goals?

Boring, I know, but if you don’t know where you’re going how do you expect me to define it in your branding or website. If you don’t have clear goals, or you’re not prepared to work with me to define them, we’ll be wasting each other’s time.

Do you have passion

Building an audience online or anywhere is hard work and it takes time. Passion is the fuel you need to keep going when all the chips are down and you feel like you’re smashing your head against a brick wall. If you’re not passionate about what you do, how do you expect me to be passionate about it too?

Do you have a budget?

If you really want to knock one out of the park, you’re going to need to invest some cash. That’s just the way it is. I don’t cut corners. You don’t need to re-mortgage your house but you are going to need to treat this as an investment. If you follow the plan as I tell you, you’ll get a positive return.

What about your audience?

Building an audience through blogging, podcasting, interviews, white papers, presentations, speaking and education is the only way to generate new customers online. If you don’t already have an audience you should be prepared to build one. If you aren’t prepared to, or don’t have the time to build the audience, you will need to pay someone to do it for you. I have the contacts if you need them.

Do you have help?

I don’t enjoy watching my clients meltdown or seeing the project stall because they can’t keep up with the work flow. You may need to hire an assistant to help out a few hours a week or a fully-fledged content production team, either way, you’re going to need help.

Can you commit to the time?

If we work together I will need your attention to get the job done. Remember, it’s your project, not mine. I’m serious about achieving a return on your investment.
